Center for Communication Programs - Pakistan (hereafter “Center”) is a nongovernmental and non-profit organization regulated under Societies Act XXI of 1860 of Government of Pakistan. The Center owes its current entity status to the technical support provided by Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Communication Programs (JHUCCP) based in Baltimore, USA. Building upon the experience of working in Pakistan since 1990 and convinced by the capacity of its local team, JHUCCP deemed it fit to support the establishment of a nationally based and independent Center so that gaps in the area of developmental communication are addressed on sustainable basis. The former Country Representative of JHUCCP in Pakistan is the Center’s present Country Director. JHUCCP is partner for specific projects under different memorandums of understanding on need basis.
